The unit is a commercial grade and powerful gravity self feeding chipper able to tackle through challenging jobs in any place where it is required. It has a maximum chipping capacity of 4.5 inches thanks to a robust 20HP commercial grade 680cc CRX 20HP engine.

The unit is electric start, has a CARB approved fuel system and engine. It is also highway towable with DOT tires and lightning equipment.

Some Features:

Each Yardbeast 4521 is fitted with a tough heavy duty polyethilene tool box that is convenient for storage of tools, spare parts, etc. Shown on pic is also its V-shaped anvil; a unique feature that improves the feeding dynamics of the unit. This is a first in wood chippers.

The Y-n-stripes do not just look cool. The disc when rotating at full RPM’s; creates a huge internal vacuum. These holes allow incoming air to go through the chamber and increase the discharge air flow; thus improving efficiency and allowing the chips to be discharged at a greater distance.

The rotor is fabricated of 3/4″ steel with dual reversible blades. The blades are laser cut and made of A8 steel; one of the most durable and wear resistant materials in the industry. Carefully angled, these blades will self feed almost anything coming in through the feed chute.

The discharge neck can be locked in any of its 10-positions and is able to gyrate through 360-deg. Only push down one of the levers and rotate the discharge wherever you need to direct the chips.

The hopper and anvil are uniquely designed to a V-shaped geometry; this allows the branches to stay centered and reduce swaying while it is being processed into the rotor. This reduces chipping time and improves overall chipping operator’s experience, specially with long branches. As mentioned before, this is a unique feature of the Yardbeast 4521.

A deflector is attached to the neck discharge to control the angle of discharge -and discharge length- of the chips. Easily adjustable by loosening or tightening the two knobs on each side. The 4521 utilizes a premium 12V-35Ah battery for fast startups.

You can detach the belt guard from three knobs located on the top, and one on each side. This setup makes it easy and quick to remove the guard an inspect the transmission as well as going over maintenance jobs.
