Bar none, the best balance of any axe on the market. No rolling or tipping when striking with the backside of the head. The marrying groove milled into the head LOCKS onto any halligan fork on the market (even the awful three-piece bars) so that you can carry your irons in one hand as a single unit with no straps or gizmos.

We offer several types of handles.  All handles are available in standard 36″ length, several are offered in 32″ length as well.

NOTE: Handle length on an axe or maul is measured from the top of the tool head to the bottom of the handle. It is the overall length of the tool, including the head, NOT just the length of the handle that is visible underneath the tool head.

NOTE: For the LOCK-SLOT 8 AXE and IRON FOX AXE, the 32″ and 28″ handles will not marry properly with a 30″ inch halligan because the handle is too short…..but they marry well to a 24″ halligan!
